I am doing some designs for fountains and aerators. I want a pond about 1/2 an acre at least. I have read in books it is possible to adopt one which I know nothing about. Can I find anything like this for 200$ at most, Provided electricity is available?

I have an outside pond that is about 50 gallons. I have bought several fish, cheap ones from Walmart and they keep dieing. Most die within two days. I have several plants and an aerator. I have check the water and everything is perfectly in balance. Why are they dieing? I buy the cheap ones because I didn't want to spend money on expensive fish if they are going to die. I tested my water with the testing strips for ponds/fish

I have 5 small koi fishes (3 & 4 cm. now) staying in my indoor aquarium with filters and aerator. My question is will they be affected much if I transfer them after six months in my currently being upgraded garden pond? The pond is at least a meter deep and 3x5meters wide with waterfall. I live in South Africa and we have mild weathers here. Thanks.

I had my pond professionally cleaned a week ago. I have a waterfall filter system, 3 aerators, and just put in a UV system 3 days ago. When it was cleaned it was drained and powerwashed. I only have 12 koi in this pond. Why is the water not clear? I did add 3 lilly pads (potted plants) from a very reputable supplier. I also added some floating plants like little lettuces. I wasnt here when he put in the new uv system but it has a blue light at night and a submersed pump. It did rain a little here - perhaps the water just got dirty??
